* Great transition from one activity to another. Students should know exactly what is expected to make that transition run smoothly.
* Constantly walk around the room stopping to make encouraging comments on students' work.
* Give students a one minute warning when they will be transitioning on to something else

* Before giving students an assignment, make sure students understand what is expected of them
